The Return That Never Was. Cyprus 1974-2024

The documentary narrates the personal experience and memories of the displaced refugees and interned people, and how they experienced and felt the Turkish invasion in July 1974. Traumatic experiences of children, adolescents, and adults were imprinted and remain in their memories and souls 50 years later. The 88-minute documentary is a narrative from 18 people who lived in Cyprus before the Turkish invasion in 1974.

I have been working as a Photographer since 2002 and as a Videographer since 2014 where I have collaborated with the most popular magazines, newspapers and broadcasters in Greece and worldwide (BBC, National Geographic, DW, Sport Illustrated, The Guardian, LA Times, New York Times, Lonely Planet, Mashable, The Telegraph, HuffPost, ZEIT Online, BBC, Rai News, Mashable, ARTE).
