Nikos Papakostas is a composer, poet, and documentary director who has collaborated with many Greek and foreign artists. Many of his historical and scientific documentaries have received awards at international festivals. He has also written music and lyrics, translated poetry, and authored the monograph The Music of Smyrna and Rebetiko.
