Vassilis Mazomenos is a Greek director, writer and producer, born and based in Athens. His work has been screened and awarded at international festivals, highlighting his contribution to Greek and international cinema. He is a member of the European and Greek Film Academy, as well as a regular member of jury committees. Founder of Horme Pictures, he has directed eleven feature films and dozens of shorts as a producer. He also writes and directs for the theatre, and has published three books of poetry and numerous articles on film and culture.
