The Art Of Remembering

The Art Of Remembering

Visual artist Artemis Alcalay unpacks her family’s hidden past — weaving together personal narrative, Holocaust memory, and collective trauma through her powerful body of work. As she creates, she reflects: How much of our inheritance is spoken? How much do we carry without knowing? An intimate, artistic journey through memory, trauma, and healing. Through art, Artemis confronts silence — and transforms it.
