The Stuff We Are Made Of (Apo Ti Eimaste Ftiagmenoi)

An exploration of love and the erotic body through the lens of disability. Aris, a young ambitious paraplegic man sets out to investigate the erotic lives of disabled people in Greece. As a psychology student, his dissertation is an exceptional study on stereotypes surrounding the sex life of disabled people in the country, a subject that has been a taboo for many years. But his real search is to find answers to his own personal questions about complexities of sexual attraction, intimacy and ultimately the mystery of love. He interviews experts and talks to interabled couples; He visits sexual assistants and erotic festivals; He uses dating applications and attends accessible parties. As his quest continues, a fascinating picture of love and Eros is formed through a mosaic of different characters and their romantic lives.
