Alexa Economacos is a Greek-Ecuadorian writer-director from Miami, Florida. Most recently, she developed her original drama pilot with Amazon and Borderless Pictures. She was previously the Sundance Episodic Program coordinator and research consultant for Apple’s UNT. DAMIEN CHAZELLE SERIES. Her work appears in The Financial Times, Joyland, and The Rumpus; her debut story was nominated for the PEN/Dau Prize. Fluent in Spanish, French, and English, Alexa earned her BA in Creative Writing and Political Science from Columbia University and LSE.
