Greek immigrant Luca (12) is in Corsica with his father Alex, honouring his mother’s memory and her wish to return to her homeland. Struggling to fit in and desperate to connect with his grieving father, Luca pushes Alex to train him in the only thing that feels like home and that they can share together: freediving. Fearful of the path he has set his son on and the dangers of pursuing one’s passions, Alex is reluctant. As their relationship deteriorates and Luca’s isolation grows, the boy will risk everything to prove himself and make the ultimate dive.
