Agapi

AGAPI is a 10-minute hand-drawn animated short based on a true story. Set in 1921 during the Genocide of the Greeks of the Black Sea by the Young Turks, it follows 13-year-old Agapi and her family, forced on a brutal 40-day “white death march” through the snowy forest in Ordu, Black Sea, Turkey. A powerful historical drama, AGAPI sheds light on a forgotten atrocity, ensuring history is remembered-and never repeated.
