Don’t Break My Stones

A documentary about the katikés, or country houses, of Paros island, Cyclades, Greece. Four people share their stories and memories from their katikés, which are residences outside the main island settlements, around which Parians housed their agricultural activities and livestock farming.

Katerina Patroni studied filmmaking at Eugenia Hadjikou Film School in Athens, The London International Film School, and the National Film and Television School. She has written and directed fiction and documentaries and taught filmmaking at Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki and the State School of Drama of Northern Greece.
