Black Stone

A documentary crew stumbles on Haroula, a desperate, overprotective Greek mother in search of her son, who is accused of fraud. Haroula, accompanied by her other son, who is disabled, and a Greek-African taxi driver, sets out to bring him back home where he belongs–even if this means Haroula will discover who her son really is.

About the director

Spiros Jacovides studied directing at Stavrakou College and film studies at the London College of Printing and was a guest student at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). He has worked as an assistant director on TV commercials and currently, writes, produces, and directs short films, web ads, and corporate videos. Black Stone is his first feature film.
