Manos Arvanitakis is a filmmaker and cinematographer, a graduate of the Leica Academy, with training at FAMU (Czech Republic) and international film seminars. His short film Sea Happens screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2010. Active since 2001, he has worked as a director, cinematographer, and assistant director on films and stage productions, incorporating new media in major cultural venues. He is currently completing the documentary The Charcoal Makers of Ikaria Island and developing his first feature film.
