Light of Cappadocia: Saints Arsenios & Paisios (Fos Kappadokias: Agioi Arsenios kai Paisios)

The documentary “Light of Cappadocia” follows a captivating journey in the footsteps of the two most recent Saints of the Orthodox Church, Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian and Saint Paisios the Athonite. Traveling from Farasa in Cappadocia to Mount Athos, two monks revive their sacred legacy, revealing the resilience of faith through prayer, trials, and miracles. The film weaves together archival material, testimonies of believers and monks, and stunning cinematic images from Farasa (Cappadocia) and Greece, bringing to light narratives and information presented for the first time. Through this multi-layered storytelling and the eyes of its protagonists, the lives of the two most recent Saints of Orthodoxy unfold before us, inviting the viewer into a journey of faith, miracles, and reflection.
