Sokratis is a film and theater director, actor, writer, and educator who has received international acclaim for his work as a director, screenwriter, and actor. He first came to the United States in 1991 as a Fulbright scholar for graduate studies. In 2016, he moved to the U.S. permanently, and in 2022, he was honored to be appointed as a Presidential Fellow at Chapman University. He is currently teaching graduate courses at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.
