Eugene (Gino) Brancolini

Eugene (Gino) Brancolini is a filmmaker, producer, and educator based in Los Angeles. He joined the Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television faculty in 2009 and recently completed a six-year term as Graduate Director of the school’s Production MFA program.

Before coming to LMU, Brancolini spent more than two decades producing and directing documentary and studio programming for public television at WTIU–PBS in Bloomington, Indiana. During his final years there, he served as Director of Production Services, overseeing a unit that created local, regional, and nationally broadcast programs. His work has earned multiple regional Emmy Awards and CINE Golden Eagles.

His national public television credits include Sugarplum Dreams: Staging the Nutcracker Ballet, Spanning Time: America’s Covered Bridges, Ten Steps to College with the Greenes, Paying for College with the Greenes, and Cuba: The Forgotten Revolution. He has also served as a documentary juror for regional Emmy competitions, the Broadcast Education Association, and the Kentucky Humanities Council.

Born and raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brancolini holds dual American and Italian citizenship and lives in Redondo Beach, California, with his wife, Kristine.

Konstantia Kontaxis

Konstantia Kontaxis

Konstantia Kontaxis is an award-winning producer, editor, and filmmaker whose work moves fluidly between documentary and narrative cinema. She teaches at the University of Miami’s School of Communication, where she also serves as associate dean for research and creative activity.

Her films have screened internationally in theaters, on television, and at major festivals and cultural venues. Recent projects include Naked Ambition: Bunny Yeager (Music Box Films), Lifeline/Clyfford Still (Kino Lorber), Symphony in D and Sweet Dillard, the latter two broadcast in more than 140 U.S. markets via APT. Her work has been featured at Tribeca Film Festival, the Venice Art Biennale, Busan International Film Festival, Art Basel Miami Beach, and in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Athens, Madrid, and London.

Kontaxis has received numerous honors, including awards from Moondance, Cleveland, Yorkton, Miami, and Fine Arts Film Festivals, and is a four-time recipient of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Regional Emmy Award. Her projects have been supported by organizations such as the Knight Foundation, Florida Humanities Council, and Miami-Dade Art in Public Places.

In addition to filmmaking, she works as a curator and media consultant, collaborating with institutions including the Miami Dade College Museum of Art and Design, the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, and the Miami Art Museum.

Martinos Aristidou

Martinos Aristidou, ACE is an Emmy-nominated editor working across documentary and narrative projects. He also serves as a story and production consultant, advising on complex productions from development through final delivery. Martinos is an active member of American Cinema Editors and serves on both the International Relations and Documentary Committees. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and born and raised in Cyprus, he brings a global perspective to his work. He is currently based in Los Angeles.

Sunil Sadarangani

Sunil Sadarangani

Sunil Sadarangani is a producer and media strategist with 15+ years guiding independent films and documentaries from development through production, festivals, publicity, and global distribution. Based in Los Angeles, he works internationally across the U.S., India, Europe, and APAC.

He specializes in bridging creative execution with strategic positioning—overseeing budgeting, scheduling, crews, and logistics while shaping how projects are presented to festivals, markets, press, and audiences. His work includes award-winning and Oscar-qualified films and participation in major markets like Berlinale’s European Film Market and Cannes Marché du Film.

Sunil also leads publicity and media strategy, with coverage in outlets such as Deadline Hollywood, Variety, and IndieWire, and has extensive experience in festival programming and evaluation. He co-founded the Ojai Short Film Festival, serves on multiple juries, and is on the advisory board of the City of Angels Film Festival.
