Kostas Fountas Aloupogiannis was born in Athens in 1990 and grew up in Astros, Arcadia. He studied Electrical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) while also pursuing guitar and composition studies. In 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Music at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in the Netherlands, where he also developed an interest in photography. Back in Greece, he worked as a photographer and music video creator before moving into the film industry as a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT). In spring 2024, he completed his first short fiction film, Eleven Twenty, followed in 2025 by the student short documentary At the Market.
