Als, Our Own Sea

An animated short dedicated to the sea. Triggered by the Homeric word ALS, the film tells the personal story of its creators, members of the Alternative Community “Paremvasis”, that is connected with the sea environment, the “saltiness’’ of one’s childhood, the oceans of emotions and the beauty of the big blue that moves us deeply. The sea as described in the movie is tempestuous and calm, it is life itself and anticipation, rebirth and transformation. This alternation represents the course of the people that give their own battle in life, dare to take a long journey and have the goal to change. In the beginning it all seems like a dream but it shortly becomes very real.
