Araceli Lemos has been a programmer for LAGFF since the festival’s 3rd edition. She is a filmmaker based in Athens, Greece and Los Angeles, California. In Los Angeles, she works as a director with Nonetheless Productions. She founded the International Project Discovery Forum in 2013. Araceli has also worked as an editor for documentaries and as a production designer for films that have won awards in prestigious international festivals. She graduated with an MFA in film directing from CalArts.

 

Born in Italy, Giulia Caruso is now based in Los Angeles, where she is a partner in the independent production company Nonetheless Productions. With Nonetheless, she produces a variety of content from commercials and web series to feature films. Her work as producer has screened at film festivals around the world. Giulia’s first feature as a director,AURORA NOTTE,premiered at BAFICI 2014. Giulia holds an MFA in Film Directing from CalArts.

 

Thouly Dosios holds a B.A. in Visual Studies from Harvard University and an M.F.A. in Film Directing from UCLA. Her short film HOUSE OF THE OLIVE TREES has screened in over 80 film events worldwide, receiving several distinctions. Thouly has written and directed a wide range of documentary projects, as well as the shorts VIRAL THEAD and ROCKING & REELING. She edited the independent comedy BALLS TO THE WALL, directed by Spheeris. Thouly is currently developing the screenplay for her first feature.

 

Born in Maryland, grew up in Greece, Karina Logothetis is a filmmaker based in Athens, Greece and recently moved in Los Angeles. She graduated from the Technological Educational Institute of Photography and Audiovisual Arts and SAE Institute digital filmmaking department, both in Athens. She has been working in films as an assistant director, continuity and wardrobe and also has participated voluntarily in Thessaloniki, Athens and Watersprite film festivals. In 2016 she won a film fund award from the Hellenic Film Academy to make her first short film.

 

Natasa Efstathiadi is an Athens-based Greek artist. She graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts. She currently works as an animator for the feature film LOVING VINCENT.

 

Yiannis Mouravas is an Amsterdam-based Greek artist and carpenter. He participated in the 4th Biennial of Athens and in several art exhibitions in Greece and abroad. After graduating from the Athens School of Fine Arts, he is currently pursuing his Master in Design at Sandberg Institute.
