“Kε•ha•’jas – Man of the Land” is an ethnographic documentary filmed in Lemnos, the most lowland of the Aegean islands. Memories, oblivions, silences, and identities help to illuminate the rural, economic, and social history of the island.

About the director

Giorgos Komakis was born in Athens, in 1975. He studied theater and acting at Iakovo Kambaneli’s Drama School and at AKMH Athens college completing his directing studies. He worked in various shows and series for the Greek TV. He founded the cinematography group “Lxs cinema project” at Lemnos island where he permanently lives the last years.
