takisIn the context of a presentation of the SKAI Greek television channel and its recent focus on documentary production, there will be a screening of TAKIS, a film about a dog and animal rescuer in Crete who, single-handedly, has brought awareness to the issue of animal protection in Greece and elsewhere.

​Today, Takis has created a model animal shelter, where 2,500 abused dogs have been rescued and 1,500 adopted, mostly abroad. His commitment to doing good has created a snowball effect. On social media, he has become a viral symbol of hope, touching hearts across the globe, while volunteers arrive from all corners of the world to support him. As he bears the weight of this responsibility, he inspires both curiosity and relief within the local community.
