American Cinematheque in collaboration with LAGFF #2
The American Cinematheque announces screenings of the Joel & Ethan Coen film MILLER’S CROSSING with Gabriel Byrne in person for a Q&A.
The screenings, held in collaboration with the 19th LAGFF multi-event Tribute to Costa-Gavras, take place as part of the popular American Cinematheque program Bleak Week: Cinema of Despair – Year 4 (6/1-7, 2025), a weeklong festival that spotlights some of the greatest films from around the world that explore the darkest sides of humanity. This year’s Bleak Week features over 50 films from 16 countries, more than 15 special guests and six restoration premieres across the Aero Theatre, Egyptian Theatre and Los Feliz 3.
